Delores Elaine Simons nee Mason passed into Heaven January 28, 2017 at her home at the age of 86 years. Delores was born March 30, 1930 in Saginaw to William and Linda (Pohlman) Mason. On September 10, 1949, Delores became the beloved wife of William Clifford Simons. Together they raised a family and farmed in Fremont Township. She was a member of Hope Ev. Lutheran Church in St. Charles. Delores is survived by her husband Clifford and children, Suzanne (Michael) Brodbeck, Rev. Daniel (Maria) Simons, Penny Jungnitsch, and Timothy (Kristen) Simons. Left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Salina (Andrew) Steinbrenner, Rachel Simons, Allison Simons, Elizabeth Simons, Jacob Simons, Katelyn Simons, David (Dana) Brodbeck, Kirsten (Malachi) Brodbeck-Kenney, Seth (Melissa) Brodbeck, Emily Brodbeck, Luke Jungnitsch, Aaron Jungnitsch; great-grandchildren, Lucas, Leon, Henry and Ciara; eight nieces and nephews, Diane Simons, Debra Tanner, Garry Simons, Dennis Simons, Jason Simons, Randal Mason, William Mason and Diana Mason. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son-in-law, Bruce Jungnitsch and her brother and sister, Raymond Mason and Lorraine Mason. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the Hope Ev. Lutheran Church, 1123 W. Walnut St., St. Charles. Rev. Phil Bigelow will officiate with burial in the Fremont Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd., from 6:00 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
