Delores Mae Lieber-Czymbor of Bridgeport and Birch Run, Michigan
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2020, at Carol’s AFC Home in Port Sanilac, Michigan. She was 87 years old. Delores Mae Lawler was born on June 3, 1932 in Carsonville, Michigan, to the late Patrick and Mildred (Basler) Lawler. She was a proud 1951 graduate of Deckerville High School. Following graduation, Delores attended cosmetology school and worked as a beautician her entire life. She married Walter Michael Lieber on August 4, 1951 and later married Bernard Czymbor; he survives her. Delores was a faithful member of Faith Lutheran Church in Bridgeport. She was a social person, a conversationalist at heart, and enjoyed various forms of social gatherings with family and friends. Delores also enjoyed attending the Sunday evening Polka Dances.
Surviving are her husband, Bernard Czymbor of Birch Run; two sons and two daughters: Stuart Lieber; Roxanne (Jeff) Kerns of Birch Run; Greg (Lorena) Lieber of St. Charles; Michelle (Mark) Bosanc of Rochester Hills; step-daughter, Kelly (Mike) Kaczmarczyk of Burt; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Patrick (Carol) Lawler of Port Sanilac; two sisters: Marilyn Mattox of Minden City; Patricia Wells of Bridgeport; sister-in-law, Mary Lawler of Snover. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by a step-son, Tim Czymbor; brother, Wayne Lawler; brother-in-law, Fred Mattox.
Delores’ family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Carol’s AFC Home in Port Sanilac for all the love and care they provided not only to Delores, but to the entire family.
