Denise Marie Martin

Denise Marie Martin Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Saturday July 9, 2016 at the Toni and Trish house in Auburn at the age of 62 years. The daughter of Walter and the late Helen (Smith) Tessin was born January 29, 1954 in Hemlock, Michigan. She graduated from Hemlock High School, Class of 1972. She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant with St. Mary's Hospital, retiring with 34 years of service. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing and cooking and was especially known for her cake baking and decoration. Surviving besides her father, Walter, are a daughter, Shawnie Marie Klemm; a granddaughter, Taylar Ann Klemm; her step-mother, Shirley Bluemer Tessin; two brothers, and a sister and their spouses, Duane Tessin; Daryl and Jane Tessin; Dawn and Wade Cochran; 5 step-brothers and sisters; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 13, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church, 17927 Dice Rd. Hemlock. Rev. Paul A. Hauser will officiate with burial in Midland Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and then at the Church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
