Dennis passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Symphony Tri-Cities, with his family at his side; at the age of 81 years.

The son of the late Edward Trim and Laura (Pinney) Freeman, Dennis was born on March 6, 1940 in Flint, Michigan. He graduated from Mt. Morris High School. Dennis worked for the Mt. Morris School District for 34 years of loyal and dedicated service. He married Joanne Holliday on April 30, 1994 in Sanford, Michigan; she preceded him in death on May 2, 2014. Dennis believed in the Christian Faith. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, watching TV and collecting diecast cars.

Surviving are four children: Annette (Jerry) Fuller, Denise (Jeff) Babcock, Karen Russell, Kevin Trim; three very dear step-children: Joseph Holliday, David Holliday, Carla (Raul) Morales; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; his sister: Carla Hedges. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Dennis was preceded in death by his two sisters and brother: Barbara Glesenkamp, Douglas Trim, Jacquline Duke.

A committal service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Pine Grove Cemetery, 6680 Dixie Highway, Bridgeport, Michigan 48722. Chaplain Randall Waibel will officiate. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to a charity of your choice.
