Dianne Cecelia Warnock

After fighting a long, hard battle with breast cancer, Dianne passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 16, 2020 at the age of 69 years. She born to the late Louis and Virginia (Gerspach) Simonetti Sr. on December 23, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan. Dianne was a graduate of Carrollton High School, class of 1970. She continued her education at Mid- Michigan Community College earning an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Dianne married William Warnock on July 21, 1973 at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Saginaw. They spent 47 wonderful years together.

Dianne was a Registered Nurse for Covenant Medical Center for many years. She retired from Covenant Visiting Nurses Association in 2014. Dianne loved traveling, camping, walking the trails, cooking and shopping. She enjoyed spending time at her cabin in Harrison, Michigan. Above all she cherished time spent with her family, especially spoiling her granddaughter Kaitlyn and caring for her Shih Tzu’s CJ and Samantha.

Dianne is survived by her husband William “Bill” Warnock; daughter Jennifer (Timothy) Lincoln; granddaughter Kaitlyn Lincoln and many nieces and nephews whom she also spoiled. She is also survived by her siblings: Susan Richter, Debbie (Rob) Beck, Sandy Loiselle, Linda Simonetti, Louis Gene (Joanne) Simonetti Jr., Mike (Cindi) Simonetti, and Dennis Simonetti.

She was predeceased by her in laws William and Esther Warnock, her sister in law Wilma Warnock and her brother in law William Richter.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park (150 Park Street, Freeland). Rev. Fr. Steven Gavit will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service and from the end of the service until 5:00 p.m.
