Dolores E. Hart

Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Charter Senior Living of Bay City, with her family at her side. At the age of 87 years. 

The daughter of the late Wilbur and Beatrice (Samuels) Wells, Dolores was born on August 10, 1936, in Charlevoix, Michigan. She graduated from Charlevoix High School. Dolores married Earl F. Hart on December 4, 1954. He preceded Dolores in death on January 11, 2015. Dolores was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose unwavering love and dedication enriched the lives of her family. Her nurturing spirit created a warm and welcoming home, where love could always be felt in abundance. She and her husband attended the Buena Vista Senior Center. Dolores found joy in the camaraderie of bingo games, friendly competition of playing cards, and the thrill of trying her luck at the casino.  Above all, Dolores cherished the time spent with her family and loved ones. 

Surviving are her two daughters and their husbands, Kathy and Douglas Hetherington, Laurie and Brian Hilton; son-in-law, Paul North; grandchildren, Michaeljon Burton, Jeremiah Burton, Jennifer Ostrander, Christopher Ostrander, Travis North, Daniel Hilton; great-grandchildren, Jayson, Joshua, Jaxsyn, Jordan, Michael, Marcus (Ariel), Mackenzie, Makayla, Emma; great-great-grandchild, Braxton; sister, Marilyn (Bill) Pardee, and sister-in-law, Barbara Gault. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Besides her husband and her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane North, four brothers, and a sister. 

Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate with burial to follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral chapel. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Heart Association.
