Donald A. Stuart Saginaw, Michigan Our loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 31, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was 85 years old. Donald was born December 16, 1932, in Saginaw to the late Robert and Bernice (McIlvain) Stuart. He grew up in Saginaw and graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1950. He worked as a salesman for many years in Michigan and Florida. Donald enjoyed listening to old country music, playing cards, and learning to use his tablet. Most of all he cherished time spent with his adoring wife and family. Donald will be dearly missed by his wife of 59 years, Sally (Kerkau) Stuart; children, Kelly (Fred) Skinner, Susan (Mike) Oomen, Donald (Rhonda) Stuart II, Lori (Barry) Smith, Kathie Hayes, and Kimberly Bowness; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and sister, Nancy (Dennis) Yoder. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Stuart. Funeral services will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. officiated by Rev. Bill Bodnar. Private entombment will take place at Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
