Donald August Coeur

Donald August Coeur Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at Saginaw Geriatrics Home. Age 85 years. The son of the late Hazel and Raymond Coeur was born June 7, 1930 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Sally Cherry. She survives him. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed by General Motors, Malleable Iron Foundry, retiring with 41 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, swimming, baseball and football. Surviving besides his wife, Sally, are three sons, Bryon Cherry; Earl Cherry and his wife, Barbara; Michael Coeur and his wife, Dawn; seven grandchildren, Debbie Cherry; Heather Cherry; Megan Cherry; Amanda Vela; Jessica Cherry; Christopher Coeur; Aaron Coeur; several great grandchildren; a brother, Valentine Coeur; several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Tammie, and two brothers, Robert and Jack, have predeceased him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Noon Saturday, February 20, 2016, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Chaplain Don Kylie will officiate. Friends may call at the chapel from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the memorial service. www.casefuneralhome.com
