Donald Donovan

Donovan, Donald Prescott, Michigan Loving father and grandfather passed away on May 2, 2013 at West Branch Regional Medical Center at the age of 81 years. The son of the late John (Jack) and Genevieve (Killingbeck) Donovan was born on June 16, 1931 in Bay City, MI. He served in the U.S. Navy. Don married Doris Ann Dubay on October 4, 1969; she predeceased him on October 30, 2006. He retired from GM Grey Iron Foundry after 30 years of service. Don enjoyed camping with his family. Surviving are his children; Debbie (Tim) Polzin, Brenda (Frank) Brewer, Don (Doreena) Donovan, Susan Donovan, 10 grandchildren; Amy Brewer, Robert Brewer, Kayla Polzin, Tony Brewer, Kelli Brewer, Jennifer Tunison, Kevin Donovan, Shelby Donovan, James Morgan III, Donovan Morgan, 10 great-grandchildren; Matt, Breahna, Wyatt, Jozlyn, Kaylin, Timmy, Tyler, Olivia, Marshall, and Carleigh, a brother Harvey Donovan and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas Donovan. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie HWY. Rev. Lou Jurva will officiate with entombment at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral chapel on Monday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. www.casefuneralhome.com
