Eddy, Donald F. "Wacky" Saginaw, Michigan Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, passed away early Thursday, January 21, 2016, at his home, following a lengthy illness. Age 82 years. Don was born September 22, 1933, in Saginaw, the son of the late Theresa (Block) and George Eddy. He graduated from Saginaw High School with the Class of 1951. He married Beverley Coon on July 31, 1953; she survives him. He retired from General Motors Saginaw Transmission after 40 years of service. He had been a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. Don was an avid fisherman and hunter, and also enjoyed going to casinos, playing cards, bowling, and working in his vegetable and flower gardens. Surviving are his wife, Beverley; seven daughters and their husbands, Cindy and Rob Hull, Saginaw; Sherri and Joe Geese, Saginaw; Lynette Kube, Adrian; Shawn and Mat McRae, Saginaw; Beverley and Steve Frick, Saginaw; Denny Wickham, Saginaw; Donnalisa and Steve Makarewicz, Battle Creek; seventeen grandchildren, Robbi Hubbell (friend, Matt), Nickolas Donald (Michelle) Hull, Kristin (Jake) Levy, Amanda (Erik) Goidosik, Joey Geese, Dustin Geese, Charlee (Andy) Ross, Kaira Runyon, Matthew McRae (fiance Jessica), Drew McRae, Emileigh Frick, Ryan Donald Frick, Max Wickham, Sofie Wickham, Sam Wickham, Skyler Makarewicz and Brendan Makarewicz; thirteen great-grandchildren, Sydney, Jenna, Cameron, Logan, Landynn, Reese, Gracie, Hunter, Austin, Harper, Madison, Chase and McKenzie, and another great-granddaughter on the way; three sisters, Shirley Gay, Beverly Moore, and Nancy (Gary) Sebenick; one brother-in-law, Denny (Carol) Wojciechowski; many nieces, nephews, and their families. He was predeceased by four brothers, Ed, Harold, Roland and Raymond Eddy, three sisters, Sally Bryan, Jerry Eddy, and Nellie Slater, and his parents-in-law, Walt and Rose Wojciechowski. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Fr. John Johnson will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Don's family will receive friends at the chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, from 2:00 8:00 p.m. on Friday and then on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
