Donald M. Thom

Donald M. Thom Merrill, Michigan Passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Covenant Health Care. Age 72 years. The son of the late Elda (Dankwardt) and Allen Thom was born October 22, 1944 in Merrill, Michigan and graduated from Breckenridge High School. His wife, Patt, survives him. Don was employed by Arrow Paper Products/Carustar, retiring with over 40 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving besides his wife, are four children, Kelly (Steve) Packard; Christine (Jason) Thom; Don (Penny) Thom; Courtney Thom; four grandchildren, Kaela (Royce) Humm; Taylor (Sawyer) Stevens; Nate Packard; Lindsey Thom; two great grandchildren; two sister and a brother, Patricia (Don) Gillis; Bernice Haven; Dale (Cindy) Thom; several nieces and nephews. In accordance with Don's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Saturday at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel in Merrill.
