Donald "Don" W. Holtz

Passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 at the age of 69 years. Donald was born to the late Donald and Bonnie (Kniebbe) Holtz on April 4, 1948 in Saginaw. He attended Michigan Lutheran Seminary and graduated from Arthur Hill High School the class of 1966. Don served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War; stationed in Vietnam. He married Joy Wirth on October 10, 1970; she survives him. Together with Joy, Don owned Holtz Combustion Service for over 35 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge No. 82 and the Fordney Club. He enjoyed running and golfing. Surviving besides his wife, Joy, are his brother: Larry Holtz of Orchard Park, NY; sisters: Cheryl Lisee of Reese, MI; Lori Haspett of Buffalo, NY; Bonnie Jones of Eagan, MN and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Besides his parents, Don was predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Harry and Emma (Roesler) Wirth. In accordance with Dons wishes, cremation has taken place and no public services are planned.
