Donna Mae Burns

Burns, Donna Mae Saginaw, MI Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away Friday, December 20, 2013, at the age of 84. Donna was born August 17, 1929, in Saginaw to the late Melvin and Mildred (Holden) Burns. She worked for General Motors retiring in 1990. She is survived by her son, Dennis (Cathy) Burns; grandchildren, Heather (Rob) Dean, Heidi Burns, Dennis Burns Jr.; great-grandchildren, Donovan, Emily, Isabella, Miya, Brenna, Nala, and Hope; siblings, Bette Ponichtera, Melvin "Bud" Burns, Kay (Art) Archambo; many nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Herbert Beecham; and sister-in-law, Ellen Burns. She was predeceased by her siblings, Shirley Beecham and Keith Burns; brother-in-law, Jerome "Poncho" Ponichtera; and sisters-in-law, Dee Hughes and Barb Burns. The family would like to thank Hoyt Nursing and Rehab Centre for the wonderful care they provided to Donna. Visitation will take place from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2013, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Burial will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
