Donna M. McKibbin of Hemlock, Michigan
Went into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 15, 2023, at the age of 86, after battling Multiple Myeloma. She was born on May 3, 1937, in Saginaw County, to the late Anna (Jeshke) and Albert Beyersdorf. Jerry, her husband of 60 years, predeceased her on August 1, 2014. She is survived by two sons and one daughter and their families: Douglas and his children, Phillip, Andrew (Rachel), and Aimee (Joshua) Jennings, and their mother Lynn; Rodney and Elaine and their daughters, Ashley McKibbin and Allison (Nick) Townsend; Lynette Maxwell and her children, Katie Aspin and Aaron Maxwell; seven great-grandchildren: Liam, Zoe, Lenox, and Marlow McKibbin; Amber, Hannah, and Isaac Jennings. Also surviving are many special nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Jade Townsend; three brothers: Gerald, Albert Jr., and Robert; and two sisters, Bethel Bethke and Helen Scoles.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of her physicians, MyMichigan Health 5th Floor, and MyMichigan Hospice for all the love and care they provided to Donna and the family.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2290 Pretzer Road, Hemlock, Michigan, 48626, where she was a member most of her life and a member of its altar guild. Pastor Philip Loescher will officiate. Donna will be placed to rest in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends may gather at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N. Miller Road, Saginaw, Michigan, 48609, on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church until the time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Gift of Life Michigan and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
