Passed away quietly on December 17, 2020. Age 96 years. Doris was born on July 22, 1924, to the late Albert and Louise Rossow in Saginaw. She married Dale Stark on April 27, 1946; he predeceased her on June 25, 1992. Doris was an avid gardener, she loved her flowers and watching her hummingbirds. She was a longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church on Ederer Rd.

Surviving are five daughters and their spouses, Donna and Hugo Mielke, Saginaw; Diane and Paul Morley, Hemlock; Darlene and Mike Rose, Hemlock; Debbie Cook, Saginaw; Dawn and Jeff White, Freeland; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

A brother, Wilbert Rossow, predeceased her as well as two infant brothers.

Funeral service will take place at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Christ Lutheran Church, 8795 Ederer Rd, Saginaw. Rev. Joshua Becker will officiate with burial to follow in Owen Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 5:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, as well as at the church on Wednesday from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Christ Lutheran Church or a charity of their choice.
