Danielson, Dorothy A. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Friday, January 11, 2013, at Covenant Cooper. Age 80 years. Dorothy Ann Bauer was born July 16, 1932, in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Friedrich and Ottilie (Wagner) Bauer. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the Class of 1950. She retired from the Saginaw County Health Department after over 10 years of service. Dorothy had been an active member at First Assembly of God, worked in the missions and going on mission trips, and also taught vacation bible school. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, and watching Turner Classic Movies channel. She loved animals, especially her beloved dogs, Parker and Brittany. Surviving are one daughter and two sons, Sherry Desrosiers, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Mark Danielson, St. Charles, and Steve Danielson, Saginaw; four grandchildren, Shawna Marie and Marissa Lynn Desrosiers, Kelly Kathleen and Kasey Marie Danielson; two great-grandsons, Caiden and Luke; one brother and sister-in-law, Rudy and Marilyn Bauer; three nieces and two nephews, Diane, Debbie, David, Dan and Denise, and their families. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where her family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
