Dorothy A. Dengler

Dorothy A. Dengler Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister went home to the Lord on March 1, 2018, at the age of 83 years. Dorothy was born December 30, 1934, in Saginaw to the late Henry and Marie (Albrecht) Sullivan. She married James Edwin Dengler on October 15, 1960; he predeceased her on April 4, 2004. She enjoyed BINGO, attending church, bowling, and going to hockey games. She was an amazing mother most of all she cherished time spent with her family. Dorothy will be missed by her children, James (Chrisie) Dengler, Connie (Pam Green) Dengler, Randy Dengler; grandchildren, Carmi, Carli, James II, Theresa, Lisa, Stephanie, Brendan, Victoria, Jessica and their spouses; 7 great-grandchildren; her brother, James (Jackie) Sullivan; her beloved dog Speedy; and several close friends. She was predeceased by her siblings, Edward and Richard Sullivan, and Lucille Bain. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption at 615 Hoyt. Fr. Tom McNamara will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. and again on Wednesday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption.
