Dorothy Ann Fahrenbruch

Bridgeport, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Maple Woods Manor. At the age of 85 years. 

The daughter of the late Orval and Caroline (Pretzer) Wolfgram, Dorothy was born on October 18, 1938, in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Saginaw High School. Dorothy married Paul W. Fahrenbruch on January 17, 1959. He preceded her in death on September 9, 1997. She was a devoted wife and mother, who took great pride in her role as a homemaker, with her warmth and care. A passionate square dancer with her husband, they enjoyed participating in the Paws and Taws group. Her love for nature led her to delightful camping adventures, and she had a unique passion for collecting clocks. 

Surviving are her son and daughters: Debbie Brown, Cheryl Fahrenbruch, Phillip and Denise Fahrenbruch; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers and sister: Orval Wolfgram, Elinor Lange, Edwin Wolfgram; brothers-in-law: James Fahrenbruch, and Ronald (Gayle) Fahrenbruch. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and loved ones. Besides her husband and her parents; Dorothy was preceded in death by son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Della Fahrenbruch; and sisters, Betty Murray, Marion Mansfield. 

Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N. Miller Rd, Saginaw, MI 48609. Rev. William W. Hessler will officiate with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024, at the funeral chapel, and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
