Dorothy Jane Wegner Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016. At Shattuck Manor. Age 100 years. The daughter of the late Mary A. (Tobin) and Charles C. Collison was born January 22, 1916 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Gerald Green Sr., May 20, 1934. He passed away October 30, 1982. Later she married Henry Wegner, September 8, 1996. He passed January 11, 2007. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She was active in the Boy Scouts serving as a Den Mother. She enjoyed volunteering her time to collect donations and do craft work to supply gifts for our troops, knitting, sewing doll clothes, playing cards and bingo. Surviving are a daughter, two sons, and step-daughter, Marilyn Craig and her husband, Bernie; Jerry Green; James Green and Wanda Gorte; eight grandchildren, Gary Munroe, Scott Munroe, Ann Craig, Mary Craig, Nancy Jager, Rhonda Haviland, Kerry Pacholke; Melinda Green; 13 great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. A daughter, Joan Munroe, a grandson, Mike Munroe, and six brothers and three sisters have predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2016, at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4430 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw. Rev. Paul Nuechterlein will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday and then on Monday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
