Douglas R. Fey

Fey, Douglas R. Prudenville, MI Passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 10, 2014 as a result of complications from a fall at the age of 67 years. The son of the late Albert and Gertrude (Herrick) Fey, he was born on October 12, 1946 in Ann Arbor, MI. He graduated from Plymouth High School, the class of 1965. He then graduated from Alma College in 1969 with a bachelor's in teaching. He received his master's in teaching from Central Michigan University in 1972, and a Master's of Science in Librarianship from Western Michigan University in 1977. Douglas was a member of the Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Houghton Lake and before that, a member of First Presbyterian Church of Cadillac. He was an avid nature lover, and enjoyed his pet dogs. Surviving are his brother: David L. (Jane) Fey of Harpswell, ME and Naples, FL, two nieces, other relatives and friends.
