Fox, Duane Arthur Charlevoix, Michigan (formerly of Saginaw, MI) Passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 at his home, age 87 years. Duane was born in Saginaw, Michigan October 22, 1926, the son of the late Arthur and Evelyn (Scott) Fox. He married Connie Kinch December 19, 1947. She predeceased him September 4, 2000. Duane was a classical pianist. He enjoyed journalism, playing golf and working as an office clerk for many years at Reid Paper Company and Acme Block and Supply in Saginaw. Duane served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and World War II. Duane is survived by six children, Gayle (Harold) Baase, Adell (Bryan) Williams, Wayne Fox, Valerie (Allan) Northcutt, Wendy (Bill) Willett and Scott (Kim) Fox; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, James C. (Lois) Fox; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Duane was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Fox and a sister, Marilyn Miller. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2014 at W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with military services under the auspices of VFW Post No. 1859, Carrollton. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
