Edith Viola Milliman

Milliman, Edith Viola Ashley, Michigan Passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Ashley Care Center, age 90 years. Edith was born in Gladwin County, Michigan July 30, 1924 the daughter of the late Art and Edith Maude (Carnahan) Basner. She married William Milliman in 1942. He predeceased her in 1987. Edith is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Melvin and Katie Milliman; two granddaughters, Lori and Stacey Milliman; a great-granddaughter, Shannon Lester and a brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Betty Basner of Burton, MI; In addition to her parents and husband, Edith was predeceased by 11 siblings. The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2014 at W. L. Case & Company, Merrill, Michigan. Burial will be in Pinegrove Cemetery in Freeland. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel Sunday from 2:00 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.
