Edna (Rexius) Willman

Willman, Edna (Rexius) Saginaw, Michigan Passed away at home with her family by her side on Monday, March 24, 2014 at the age of 95 years. The daughter of the late George and Mary (Meyer) Rexius was born on September 17, 1918 in Gilford, Michigan. She married George Willman he predeceased her in 1976. Edna enjoyed knitting, crocheting and quilting beautiful quilts for her family. She liked to play cards, gardening and especially tending to her flowers. Edna loved being with and traveling with her family. She was also a member of the Ladies Aid Society at Christ Lutheran Church. Surviving are her children: Ardie (Jim) Smith, Peggy Crawford, Georgie Langworthy, and Christine (Ron) Richards, 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; her siblings, one brother, Edward Rexius, two sisters, Emma Wenzel and Pat Bachula and many special friends. She is predeceased by three brothers, Henry Rexius, David Rexius and Rueben Rexius; four sisters, Anna Fries, Katherine Krass, Marie Kionka and Betty Burr; one great granddaughter, Amber Sprague. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Christ Lutheran Church 8795 Ederer Road. Rev. Wade Johnston will officiate with burial to follow in Owen Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at W. L. Case and Company, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm and on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service.
