Edna Rose Alma (Wagner) Wildey daughter of Frederick and Emma (Fritz) Wagner passed away on February 6, 2016. She was predeceased by her sister Viola (Leo) Marcoux and her brothers, Wilbur (Ann), Leonard (Alice) Melvin (Ollie) and Ralph (Jean) Wagner. She is survived by her sister in law, Jean Wagner. A lifelong Saginaw resident was born on April 23, 1917, married Russell H. Wildey July 4, 1941, he passed away in 1983. They had four children: Sandi Davenport and Dennis (Wanda) Wildey of Saginaw, Bill (Ann) Wildey of Grand Rapids, and Ray (Michelle) Wildey of Northville, MI. They had seven grandchildren: Tracey (Cheryl), Jenelle (Patrick), Sarah, Andy (Rochelle), Jason, Kirstyn & Brian. They had five great grandchildren: Noah, Brandon, Kayla, Alana, and Tyler. Edna worked at the Gun Plant (Steering Gear) during WWII while Russell was in the army. She retired from the grocery store business to raise her family. She loved to do crossword puzzles, watch the Detroit Tigers, and sew plastic canvas keepsakes. She loved to play cards, travel, camp, and even tried her luck at the penny slots. She enjoyed cooking her baked bean casserole, nuts & bolts party mix and egg whites. A sincere thank you and appreciation to Edgewood Assisted Living and Hospice of Michigan. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. Robert Richards will officiate with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
