Eduardo J. "My Hunny" Rodriguez

Rodriguez, Eduardo J. "My Hunny" Saginaw, Michigan Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015, at St. Mary's of Michigan, following a brief illness. Age 62 years. He was born June 11, 1953, in Saginaw, the son of the late Delfina (Jimenez) and Refugio Rodriguez. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He also enjoyed dancing and playing softball. He married Elizabeth Castanon on June 11, 2010; she survives him. He also leaves one daughter and two sons, Ruby Rodriguez (Lou Cepeda), Angel Rodriguez, Refugio Rodriguez (Delfina Lumbreras); eight grandchildren, Alvino Rodriguez, Thalia Gonzalez, Julio Gonzalez IV, Maya Gonzalez, LouCiano Cepeda, Rosie and her husband Ronald Smith, Veronica Rodriguez and Nadia Rodriguez; seven great-grandchildren, Anthony Anderson, Serenity Martinez, Julio Gonzalez V, Gianna Gonzalez, Scarlet Smith, Christian Rodriguez, and Mila Riojas, all of Saginaw; two sisters and two brothers, Aida and her husband Frank Perez, and Delfina Rodriguez, Texas; Reynaldo Rodriguez, Saginaw; Cruz Rodriguez, Texas; his mother-in-law, Sue Romero; two sisters-in-law, Kathie Romero and Aleta Romero; four brothers-in-law, Michael Romero, John Romero, Ernie Romero, and Robert Romero, Eduardo's Godson; many loving nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Ashley Romero and a special nephew, Reynaldo "Beb" Hernandez; a special uncle and aunt, Ben and Mary Jimenez; many cousins; also many special friends, including Brian Soule, Todd Nichols, Mark Metiva, Joe "Hump" Verdusco, Mr. and Mrs. Guild, and Julie "Scootie" Mossner. He was predeceased by a son, Eduardo "Honey" Rodriguez, Jr., a sister, Pauline Ovalle, and his father-in-law, Ernie Romero, Sr.. His family will receive friends at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway, from 4:00 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015.
