Lumsden, Edward A. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on August 8, 2014 at home at the age of 77 years. The son of the late William and Helen (Waterstradt) Lumsden was born on April 25, 1937 in Saginaw. He married Lillian Emerson on June 15, 1963; she survives him. Ed retired from maintenance at Buena Vista High School after 31 years of service. He was an active member of the V.F.W. Post 1566 with many of his friends, and the Eagles Club #497. Ed enjoyed camping, bowling, trains, western movies, Tigers Baseball and most especially loved his family. Surviving besides his wife of 51 years, Lillian, are their children: Susan (Ronald) Bunton, Linda Wise, grandchildren: Amanda (Jeff) Wheeler, Marissa Bunton, Brett Bunton, Meredith Wise, his siblings: David (Vicki) Lumsden, Bette (Joseph) Klann, Virginia (John) Patson, a former son-in-law John Wise, special friends: Pat Moffit, Mike Gillig, and many nieces, nephews and cousins including Tom Lumsden. He was predeceased by two brothers: Ronald and James Lumsden. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at W. L. Case and Company, Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday at the funeral chapel from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
