Micsak, Edward A. Hemlock, Michigan Beloved husband, father, grandfather passed away on Saturday September 21, 2013 at HealthSource of Saginaw at the age of 89 years. The son of the late Andrew and Anna (Menyhert) Micsak was born on February 24, 1924 in Merrill. He served in U.S. Army during WWII and was stationed in the Asiatic Theatre. He married Margaret Suhr on June 15, 1985; she survives him. Edward attended the Church of Christ. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 7302 in Hemlock. Edward enjoyed BINGO and going to the casino. Surviving besides his wife Margaret are his children; Steven Micsak, four step-children, JoAnn Dietrich, Rick (Mary) Shur, Don (Jeri) Garrett, son-in-law Ray Gelski, step-daughter-in-law Kathryn Berger, numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his siblings; Margaret Zabarcki, Mary (Paul) Hopkins, Paul Micsak, Dan (Rita) Micsak, sister-in-law Rose Micsak, brother-in-law Don Kragenbrink and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter Julie Gelski and his siblings Andrew Micsak, John Micsak, Stephen Micsak, and Barbara Kragenbrink and a step-son Rolland Berger. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 27, 2013 at W. L. Case and Company, Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. James Sanderson will officiate with military burial at Richland Township Cemetery under the auspices of V.F.W. Post 7302.
