Elaine Marie Alsgaard (Lil)

Passed away on Monday October 29, 2018 at her daughters residence in Perrysburg, OH, at the age of 99 years. The daughter of the late James and Edith Rockwood Kavanagh and step-father Guy Rickard was born on July 7, 1919 in Saginaw, MI. She attended Saginaw High School. She first worked at Lufkin Rule until she married. She worked numerous places as a bookkeeper. She married Lyman Alsgaard on September 7, 1940. He predeceased her in l999. She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church, U.R.G.E., and volunteered at St. Marys Hospital. She enjoyed bingo going to the casino and bowled for 67 years. Surviving are son Dennis (Jo-Ann) Alsgaard; daughter Judith (Russell) Snyder; grandchildren Kristin (Jeff) Jarvis; Erica (Jason) Niemoth; Jacquelin (David) Koch. Two great granddaughters Stephanie and Aimee Koch; two great grandsons Nicholas Jarvis and Elliot Niemoth. She was the last remaining sibling in her family and leaves many nieces and nephews. A private committal service will take place later.
