Passed away on December 23, 2024 at the wonderful age of 105.

Eleanor was born on January 6, 1919 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Albert and Gladys (Fehrman) Scheib. After her father passed, when Eleanor was 6 months old, Murriel Murray took on the role of loving father to her. She owned and operated a beauty shop in Saginaw for many years. Eleanor married Joseph Baker, June 3, 1939, he predeceased her on February 26, 1989. She was a member of the Catholic faith. Living a full and meaningful life, Eleanor made so many wonderful friendships and cherished her relationships with family members.

Surviving are her daughter Jeanette Mead, granddaughters Jennifer (Jon) Knight, her sister Yvonne (Robert) Dennison, brother, Marvin Murray and a brother-in-law Robert Arnold along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Besides her parents and step-father and her husband, Joseph, Eleanor is predeceased by a granddaughter Kristine Spowehn and ten siblings.
