Elinor Elaine Lange

Our loving mom and grandma passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the age of 82.

Elinor was born on November 11, 1942, daughter of the late Orval E. and Caroline (Pretzer) Wolfgram, in Saginaw. She married Ronal Lange on June 8, 1963. He predeceased her on November 4, 2001. She loved flower gardening and napping in the sunroom, where she found it to be relaxing. Elinor enjoyed sewing, creating the warmest pajamas for her children and grandchildren. She had a sweet, soft-spoken spirit and nurtured her children and grandchildren with love and a good moral compass.

Elinor will forever be loved and missed by her children, Linda (Ben) Favel, Jerry (Tracy) Lange and Richard Lange; grandchildren, Amanda (Don) Brand, Lisa Lange (Brandon Schultz) and Matthew Englehart; great grandchildren, Mitchell, Anabelle, Camille, Addisyn, Xavier, Brooke, Joel and Gabriel; her brothers, Orval F. Wolfgram and Edwin Wolfgram. She was predeceased by her sisters, Marion, Betty and Dorothy.

Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Jim Doran will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Monday at the chapel from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
