Trim, Ellen E. Saginaw, Michigan Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017, at her home, at the age of 92 years. Ellen Elizabeth Turner was born May 7, 1924, in Saginaw, the daughter of the late James and Helen (Elbers) Turner. She married Lawrence William Trim on April 20, 1943, in Macon, Georgia; he predeceased her October 3, 2008. During the War, she was a Rosie the Riveter, working in the plants. She was a member of Spirit Filled Lighthouse. She enjoyed playing Bingo, cards and scratch off tickets. Surviving are four daughters, one son, and their spouses, Terrie Jewell; Diane and Dan Mathey; Cathy Trim; Larry Trim; Julie and Tom Dean; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, William Turner, Jerry Turner and Laura Kendall; several nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Tom Jewell; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Trim; one sister and her husband, Beulah and Ralph Trim; one sister-in-law, Betty Turner; another brother-in-law, John Kendall. Funeral service will take place at 12:00 noon Friday, March 24, 2017, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, and then on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
