Beloved partner, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at her home, with her partner at her side, at the age of 68.

The daughter of the late Charles Jr. and Eleanor (Bailie) Lake, Ellen was born on January 26, 1954, in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School in the class of 1972. Ellen then obtained her LPN license and worked as a nurse at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cross stitching, camping, baking, and her dogs. Above all, Ellen cherished the time spent with her family, especially her children.  

Surviving is her partner of 22 years, Aaron Whitmore; her daughter Heather Eisenlord; her son and his spouse, Charles and Angela Watt; her granddaughter Cheyenne Watt; and her four brothers, Bill Lake, Jim Lake, Jon Lake, and Matt Lake, their spouses, and children.  

Honoring Ellen’s wishes, cremation is to place. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider making memorial donations in her name to the Friends for Recovery Center, 2720 W Genesee Ave., Saginaw, MI, 48602.
