Elmer "Al" Walter Hasenleder

Hasenleder, Elmer Walter "Al" Roscommon, MI formerly of Saginaw Passed away Monday, August 4, 2014, at his home, accompanied by his beloved daughter Kristia at the age of 76. Al was born February 11, 1938, in Saginaw and resided in this area almost his whole life. Al worked for Vlassic Pickle until retirement. He loved the Lord, fishing, boating, and most of all his family. Al is survived by his sweetheart Janet Cantu of Roscommon; five daughters and one son, Kristia Smith, Tanya (Joshua Wegener) Hasenleder, Teresa Hasenleder, Laura (Brian Herek) Robinson, Jeremy (Jayme) Bierlein, and Kelly (Eric) Dennis; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Muringer of Birch Run and Rose (Dale) O'Brien of Bridgeport. He was predeceased by his parents Elmer and Martha (Shelter) Hasenleder; two daughters, Kim Franklin and Rachel Robinson; and two brothers, Edward and Bernard Hasenleder. Funeral services will take place at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2014, at W.L. Case & Company 5700 Dixie Highway with Rev. Dave Hansen officiating. Private burial will take place at a later date in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and again on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
