Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother gained her wings to fly home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at her home, with her family at her side. Age 86 years.

The daughter of the late Wiley Dail and Mary Helen (Alguire) Pickens, Elsie was born on October 13, 1938, in Breckenridge, Michigan. She graduated from Bridgeport High School. Elsie married Richard L. Dubay on April 9, 1955. He preceded her in death on April 25, 2013. She was Regional Manager for Contempo Fashions Jewelry for many years of loyal and dedicated service. Elsie found solace in reading her Bible. She enjoyed her creative hobbies such as crocheting and plastic canvas needlepoint, showcasing her artistic talents. Known for her warmth and hospitality, she delighted in hosting Christmas parties that brought family and friends together in celebration. Above all, she cherished the time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughters and sons, Pamela (Kelvin) Fuller, Dennis (Carol) Dubay, Richard (Christina) Dubay, Jr., Bonnie (Juan) Torrez; grandchildren, Anne Alexander, David Alexander, Jr., Ann Fuller, Tina Skutt, Jamie Kittle, Jason Fuller, Dustin Dubay, Molly Bluemlein, Jessica Dubay, Michael Dubay, Anthony Torrez, Michael Torrez, Daniel Torrez, Casey Torrez; twenty-four great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and very dear friends, Rhonda McDonald and her mother, Edna. Also surviving are many special nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Besides her husband and her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by all of her siblings, and her very dear friend, Alena McDonald.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of First State Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of Elsie.

Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. Chaplain Viola Gonzales will officiate. Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral chapel.
