Elwood Harry Wirth

Elwood Harry Wirth Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Monday, November 10, 2014, at St. Mary's of Michigan. Age 76 years. The son of Harry and Emma (Roesler) Wirth was born August 23, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Saginaw High School and served with the U.S. Army. He was a banker his entire career, beginning in San Diego, California and retiring from Chase Bank, Saginaw in 2003. He was a member of numerous civic organizations including Ducks Unlimited and a member and past president of the Fordney Club. Surviving are two daughters, Bethany Juras, Saginaw, MI; Melanie Thiel and her husband, Ted, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Nicholas Juras, Saginaw, MI; Jennifer Keene; Staci Hardin and her husband, Cooper, all of Tennessee; a sister, Joy and Don Holtz, Saginaw, MI; several nieces nephews and his best friend, Jack, his yellow lab. A daughter, Lynn Suzanne Wirth, two sisters, Jacqueline White and Darlene Waldie, have predeceased him. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 14, 2014, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. with cremation to follow. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
