Emil A. Lemaire

Lemaire, Emil A. Saginaw, MI Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather went home to the Lord on Thursday, December 18, 2014, at the age of 84. Emil was born November 11, 1930, in Saginaw to the late John and Jeanne (Thelier) Lemaire. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He married Doreen Doyle on October 18, 1952; she survives him. He was a member of Sheet Metal Local 408 then Local 7 for 60 years and American Legion Post #439. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Michael (Denise) Lemaire, Denise (Bill) Druelle, Steven (Cindy) Lemaire, and Keith Lemaire; grandchildren, Brandy (Crint LaBrosse), Michael Lemaire II, Zachary (Tara) Lemaire, Rachelle (Mike) Wenglikowski, Jessica (Josh) Nienhuis, Chelsey (Trent Bethune) Lemaire, Dustin Lemaire, Leanne Lemaire; great-grandchildren, Cale, Tucker, Brynn, Alaina; and his sister, June Wood. He was predeceased by his siblings, John, Merle, and Louise. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2014, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 1035 N. River Road. Fr. Peter Gaspeny will officiate with burial to follow in St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery under the auspices of American Legion Post #439. Friends may visit with the family at W.L. Case & Company 201 N. Miller Road on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the family will gather at 7:00 p.m. for a prayer service. Friends may also visit on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
