Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on August 2, 2020, at Bavarian Comfort Care in Bridgeport, Michigan. Age 79 years.

Emma was born in Decaturville, TN, on July 6, 1941, to the late Clarence and Lois (Britt) White. Emma loved being a mother and grandmother. She enjoyed working at Carter’s children’s clothing store in the Birch Run Premium Outlets for several years. Emma also loved gardening her flowers and working outside.

Surviving are her ex-husband, Larry Fairchild; two children, David Brian Fairchild and Amelia Katherine Fairchild; nine grandchildren, David Brian Fairchild II, Ashley Lee Fairchild, Sienna Amelia Kotch, Cheyenne Lorraine Kotch, Shaylynne Katherine Kotch, Shiloh Dalton Kotch, Victoria Elizabeth Fairchild, Sarah Jessica Fairchild, and Emma Jean Fairchild; a great-granddaughter, Paisley Elizabeth Miller; a special niece, Shonda Page as well as many other nieces and nephews; two sisters, Ruby Comis of White Lake, MI, and Anna Elrod of Nashville, TN; and a brother, Jimmy White of Decaturville, TN.

She is predeceased by a sister, Glenda Stewart; and a brother, Thomas White.

Honoring Emma's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
