Eric Andrew Jozwiak of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 8, 2022, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 72 years old. Eric Andrew Jozwiak was born on March 15, 1950, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Arthur Victor and Jean Marion (Slade) Jozwiak. He was a proud graduate of Douglas MacArthur High School. Following graduation, he attended Delta College then transferred to the University of Alaska – Fairbanks where he received a bachelor’s degree in geology and a master’s degree in administration. Eric was a longtime employee and Director of Resident Housing at the University of Alaska – Fairbanks; retiring after many years of loyal and dedicated service. He was a longtime Face-Off member and annual donator to the UAF hockey team – “Go Nanooks!” Above all, he loved and cherished his family.
Surviving are a sister, Sara L. Carlson of Portage; two nieces, Erin Carlson and her partner, Patty Molnar and their two children: Julia and Jessica Molnar of Portage; Kelly (Kyle) Rybicki and their children: Lily and Elouise of Mattawan. Also surviving are many extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Jean Jozwiak.
