Eric Robert Bryant

Bryant, Eric Robert Saginaw, MI Eric went to be with his Lord on Friday, August 8, 2014 at the age of 69 years. The son of the late Earl and Margaret (Simmons) Bryant was born on September 9, 1944 in Saginaw. He married Barbara J. Hales on September 26, 1964; she survives him. Eric retired from Delphi in 2000, after 36 years of service. He then worked for 13 years at H & R Block. He attended Hopevale Church, and volunteered at the Anderson Enrichment Center in their rose gardens. Eric enjoyed fishing, working on his rose garden and most especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving besides his wife, Barbara, are their children: Gretchen (David) Nall, Scott (Chris) Bryant, grandchildren: Alli (Kevin), Kierstin (Spencer), Nathan, Adam, Cameron, Sydney, great-grandchildren: Sadie and Carter, his siblings: Patricia (Raymond) Wahlton, Alan Bryant, many nieces, nephews, and several other dear relatives. He was predeceased by a sister-in-law Katy. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Hopevale Church, 4873 N. Center Rd. Rev. Dan Davis will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family on Monday at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-5:00p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
