Ernest “Ernie” Arthur Niemeyer of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away unexpectedly in the comfort of his own home on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at the age of 75. He enjoyed taking drives, traveling, and journaling his life events faithfully every evening. The role of his lifetime was being a father and his grandchildren were his world. He will forever be remembered for his strong-will, loving and forgiving heart, and for living a simple life with a Pepsi always in hand.
Surviving are his daughters: Amy (Richard) Humphrey of Saginaw; Michelle (Cody) Niemeyer of Lansing; three grandchildren: Chloe, Tyler, and David; three stepgrandchildren: Jaelynn, Walter IV, and Landyn; sister, Dixie (Larry) Spayth of Longview, FL; special niece, Louanne (Norm) Palmer; and special person, Melissa Donigan and her son, David Wargo, of Tarpon Springs, FL. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Madelyn Niemeyer and Mark Owens for all their care and support.
