Esther Isabell Filhart

Filhart, Esther Isabell Saginaw Township, Michigan Loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014 at the age of 78 years. The daughter of the late Weber and Bernice (Glover) Ware was born on October 19, 1935 in Goodrich, MI. She married Bill Filhart on July 1, 1960; he survives her. Esther was a retired teacher from the Saginaw Township Schools. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bridgeport. Esther enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening, shopping, playing the piano, and enjoyed the fine arts. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving besides her husband of 54 years, Bill, are their children: Mary (Roger) Bourbina, Linda (Marshall) Hughes, grandchildren: Alex, Justin, Lauren, Garrett, Beth, Jill, Addison, and Gabrielle. She was predeceased by her brother James Ware. Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. R. B. Ouellette will officiate with private burial led by her grandson Alex Boese at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
