Esther "Wenzel" Hull

Esther "Wenzel" Hull Saginaw, Michigan Esther passed away peacefully at St. Francis Home on March 4, 2019 at the age of 96 years. Esther was born on March 6, 1922 in Freeland, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late William and Clara (Curthouse) Wenzel . Esther married Leon B. Hull in 1939, he predeceased her on May 12, 1987. Esther was a member of Swan Valley United Methodist Church. She loved to garden and especially carry on a yearly tradition with her family by planting sunflowers. She enjoyed embroidery, word searches, puzzles and watching the Tigers play baseball. Esther loved to spend time with her family, she lovingly cared for her daughter Beverly, granddaughter Shelly and great granddaughter Katie who in turn cared for her during her time of need. Surving her is her daughter Beverly Schilling, grandchildren; Kimberly (Thomas) Wiles, Andrew Newcomb, Mary Lou (Rick) Galonska, Deanna Rickerd, Steve (Kari) Hull, Jim (Sherry) Hull, Christina (John) Smith, and Shelly Enriquez. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren. Esther was predeceased by two daughters; Mary Lou Newcomb and Kathy Lee Hull along with her son and daughter- in - law Jerry and Katherine Hull and 12 brothers and sisters. A Funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm, Friday March 8, 2019 at W. L. Case and Company 201 N. Miller Rd. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 pm on Thursday March 7, 2019 at the funeral home and from 12:00pm until the time of service on Friday. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the family.
