Evelyn Louise Manning

Evelyn Louise Manning Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the age of 72 years. The daughter of the late Milton and Burnce (Snider) Simmons was born March 4, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw in 1961. She married Louis J. Manning on October 13, 1962. He predeceased her May 23, 1971. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bridgeport. Her favorite pastime was reading and she collected a number of books over the years. She is survived by her children, Gail Bowman and Robin Manning; grandchildren, Autry Allan Manning, Brittany and Jamie Bowman; her siblings, Milton (Charlene) Simmons Jr. and Rosemary (Steve) Hajdu. Evelyn was predeceased by her son Allan Manning and her brother James. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. R.B. Ouellette will officiate with burial to take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
