Felsing, Evelyn R. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at the Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 83 years. Evelyn Ruth Hile was born December 19, 1929, in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Cora (O'Dell) and Jay L. Hile. She graduated from Saginaw High School and retired from Saginaw Township Community Schools after many years of service. She was formerly a member of Washington Avenue Presbyterian Church and Countryside Trinity Church. Evelyn was an artist, working in oil and acrylic painting. She enjoyed golfing and fishing, but especially loved spending time with her sisters. She married David Felsing on January 31, 1953, celebrating 60 years of marriage this year. Surviving besides her husband are two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Randall and Paula Felsing, Hemlock, and Michael and Terri Felsing, Bay City; four grandchildren, Gretchen (Greg) Leo, Blake (Nicole) Felsing, Nolan Felsing (Brittany Krause), and Hilary (Nathan) Hall; four great-grandchildren, Jack and Lauryn Leo, and Brooke and Kennedy Felsing; one sister, Marion Christian; several nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters, Arthur and Harold Jex, and Ethel Klopf and Eleanor Hooper. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where her family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of service. Rev. Mark A. Karls will officiate with entombment in Oakwood Mausoleum.
