Everett Donald Koontz, 3months old, went from his mother’s arms to the arms of Jesus. Everett was a smiley boy that enjoyed watching the fireplace. You wouldn’t think it would be possible for such a little one to teach such big lessons, but Everett taught us what joy can be brought by the small things and to number our days. His sister, Everleigh, assures us he is happily catching bugs up in Heaven.

Everett is survived by his parents, Nathan and Ciara (Aldrich) Koontz, sisters Everleigh and Esmae, grandparents: Mark and Sethany (Sharkey) Koontz, Christopher and Katrina (Mejia) Cox, Jeremy and Esther (Huffman) Aldrich, Great Grandparents, and Great Great Grandmother, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. The list of Everett’s family and friends is longer than he was.

A funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Bridgeport, 2400 King Road, Saginaw, MI 48601. Pastor JD Howell will officiate. Burial will take place at oak Ridge Memorial Park in Oak Ridge Tennessee. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until the time of the service.
