Fernando "Freddy" Jackson Jr. Saginaw, MI Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother walked into the arms of Jesus on October 25, 2014, at the age of 61. Freddy was born October 4, 1953, in Donna, TX to Cruz (Garcia) and the late Fernando Jackson Sr. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a soldier for Jesus Christ and very proud of his Cherokee heritage. He loved the outdoors, mechanics, fishing, Mexican and Christian music, and most of all spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Connie (Slavik) Jackson; his children, Fernando (Liz) Jackson III, Gilberto (Cindy) Jackson, Angela Jackson, Adam (Amanda) Jackson, Estrellita (Fred) Jackson, Lightfeather (Dawn) Jackson, Jeremiah Jackson, Evita Jackson, Fernando Jackson V, Ruthann Bo (Shawn) Jackson, Elias Jackson; 32 loved grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Odillia, Leonard (Lala), Beatrice (Joe Alaniz), Rosalinda (Ken) Antonia (Sergio), Richard, Sofia (Felipe) Rodriguez, Margie (Francisco), Andrea (Ralph); many nieces and nephews; and special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Karen and Ron Siminski. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Aurelia Garcia; grandson, Kingston; and his mother-in-law that he was a caregiver for 10 beautiful years, Mabel Ann Slavik. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2014, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Road. Pastor Sergio Ali and Brother John Hanna will officiate with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery under the auspices of VFW Post 1859 of Carrollton. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday at the funeral home from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
