Dittmar, Florence Caroline Hemlock, MI Passed away Sunday September 7, 2014 at the age of 82 years. She was born on December 2, 1931 in Richland Twp, MI; the daughter of the late Frederick and Caroline (Kade) Diener. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Pretzer Road, Hemlock. Florence volunteered at The Bethesda Thrift Store, loved sewing beautiful dresses, playing Yahtzee, enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She married Howard S. Dittmar on February 14, 1953; he predeceased her on October 18, 2003. Surviving eight children and their spouses, Carol and Gary Kube, Howell; Ronald and Sharon Dittmar, Hemlock; Edward Dittmar, Georgia; Lawrence Dittmar, Merrill; Dolores and James Graham, Wisconsin; Darlene Dittmar, Hemlock; Julie and David Cross, Marion; Carrie and Jerald Vincent, Georgia; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Kenneth (Carolyn) Diener, Harold (Marlene) Diener and Alvin (Sally) Diener; two sisters, Alice Rauchholz and Doris (Bill) Hornebar; one brother-in-law, Richard Wietfeldt; one sister-in-law, Janet Diener; many wonderful nieces and nephews. Florence was predeceased by her brothers, August, Ralph and Larry Diener; her sister, Lois Wietfeldt; her sister-in-laws, Joyce Diener and Ella Dittmar and her brother-in-laws, Warren Dittmar and Frank Rauchholz and one daughter-in-law, Dezarae Dittmar, wife of Edward. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 11, 2014 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 2290 Pretzer Road. Rev. Phil Bigelow will officiate with burial in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
