Flossie Lucille Trim

Trim, Flossie L. Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at Barton Woods, Freeland. The daughter of the late John and Lena (Nothelfer) Coughlin was born on April 19, 1928 in Hemlock. She married William E. Trim on April 12, 1947; he predeceased her on August 6, 1993. Flossie was an active member of St. John XXIII Parish, St. Mary Catholic Church, Hemlock. She retired from Hemlock State Bank after 16 years of service. Flossie enjoyed reading and crocheting. Surviving are her children: Rev. Bill (Joan) Trim, Timothy (Deborah) Trim, Patrick (Shar) Trim, grandchildren: Heather (Scott) Cummings, Heidi (Brett) Carlson, Timothy (Kristi) Trim II, Tracy (Mitch) Scherzer, Erin Trim, Patrick (Leann) Trim II, 12 great-grandchildren, her sister, Dorothy (William) Garety. Besides her husband and parents, Flossie was predeceased by three sisters, Margaret Sanford, Jackie Bell and Helen McMillan. Funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Mary Catholic Church in Hemlock. Rev. Fr. Dennis Kucharczyk will officiate with burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. They may then visit at church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.
