Passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Age 91 years.
The son of the late Frances (Kosciuszko) and John Gabrish Jr. was born April 16, 1930 in Carrollton, Michigan. He graduated from St. Joseph High School and served with the U. S. Marine Corp during the Korean War. He married Joan Hoebbel, May 30, 1959. She passed away September 3, 2012. Floyd was employed by Mitts and Merrill retiring with 32 years of service. He then was employed by Feige’s Furniture for 12 years. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid Detroit Sports fan.
Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Gerald Bragg; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brother and a sister, Chester, Edward and Marie.
