Passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Brittany Manor, Midland. Age 81 years.
The son of the late Noami New Year (Comstock) and Emerson James Wetherell was born February 3, 1940 in Midland, Michigan. He married Barbara Ann Kehoe, September 20, 1975. She survives him.
Floyd had been employed by Johnston Contracting. He was a member of the Sanford Eagles Club and the Moose. He enjoyed shooting pool, playing darts, bowling and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving besides his wife, Barbara, are three daughters and one son, Tarry Haner, Trena (Brian) Yager, Bridget Wetherell; Emerson Wetherell; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Floyd Wetherell Jr, a great granddaughter, Brooke and three sisters, Christine Lowe, Patricia McKimmy and Aletha Lehman.
The funeral service will take place a Noon, Tuesday August 24, 2021, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. His grandson, Pastor Jeff LaCourse will officiate with burial in Richland Twp. Cemetery. Friends may visit with family at the Chapel from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the funeral.
